How to make a reservation

All attendees MUST complete a reservation form (available on this site), which must be accompanied by payment. Our final attendee list comprises only of pre-paid reservations.

Your reservation form must list your contact information, full legal name as it appears on your government-issued I.D., profession, etc. You must also indicate if you wish to use a different or “professional” name on your name tag.

NOTE: If you do not provide us with your contact information (include phone number), we will not be responsible for any inconvenience you experience, and you hereby accept full responsibility, if we are unable to reach you in case of the event cancellation, change in venue, or any emergency.)

Submitting Reservations and Payments

Payments may be made online via PayPal OR by mailing a check or money order (with a completed RSVP form) to the address listed below.

COMPANY CHECKS: If you are sending us a COMPANY check, please indicate the name of the person for whom the reservation is to be made.

PERSONAL CHECK: If your PERSONAL check has more than one name printed on the check, please indicate name of the person for whom the reservation is to be made.

GENERAL RULE: Always tell us in whose name(s) the reservation is to be made when you send in your check, including any “professional names” that you or your guests use.

Confirmed Reservations:

Your cashed check or PayPal receipt is your confirmation. We do NOT provide tickets, or send emails confirming reservations. 

HOWEVER, IF YOUR CHECK DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN CASHED BY THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT, CALL TO SEE IF IT HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND/OR DEPOSITED. Most likely you are included on the reservations list and in the attendance count (even if the transaction does not appear on your account at the time). So if in doubt, CALL  OR EMAIL to confirm that you are on the attendee list.

NO-SHOWS CANNOT BE ROLLED-OVER. Paid reservations are non-refundable but are transferable to someone else on the date paid for only.

LATE RESERVATIONS:

Price: $60.00 per person

* Late Reservations start from 5:01 p.m. on posted deadline date through 1 p.m. on day before event.

MAIL: If you mail your check any time AFTER the postmark deadline, there is no guarantee that we will receive it in time to include you on our reservations list. WALK-INS:

Price: $65.00 per person CASH ONLY
(receipt provided)

* Walk-in prices become effective from 3:01 p.m. on the day before event through the day of the event.

We do NOT accept checks or credit cards at the door — CASH only.

PLEASE NOTE: You are considered a “walk-in” if you do not have a pre-paid reservation. Seating is not guaranteed for walk-ins.

There will be a $25 charge for all bounced or returned checks, PLUS the breakfast fee.

When you bounce a check, we not only incur bank charges we have to pay for your breakfast.

Attendees who do not settle outstanding monies associated with their bounced or returned checks are placed on our “DO NOT ADMIT BLACK LIST” and are required to pay ALL MONIES DUE (including bank charges), before they are allowed back into the event. 

All transactions are final.

• Reservations are non-refundable.

• No credits are issued.

• No-shows cannot be rolled over to another breakfast.

• A reservation may be transferred to someone else for the date paid for only

LATE ARRIVALS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Breakfast is not guaranteed for late arrivals.

Whether you have an “on-time” reservation, or you are a “walk-in,” if you arrive late at the breakfast, we cannot guarantee that there will be food available for you.

Breakfast is served open buffet-style, where attendees may have more than one helping. Our venue replenishes our food supply, where necessary, up until 9 a.m. on a weekday and up until 11 a.m. on a Saturday. More than likely there will be food available after 9 a.m./11 a.m., but we offer no guarantees.

If you are a late “walk-in” and you do not have an opportunity to eat, but still wish to hear the speaker, or stay to network, full walk-in rates will apply.

Business casual attire required.

NO jeans, T-shirts, sweats, or inappropriate, provocative clothes allowed.

The Hollywood Networking Breakfast® has a STRICTLY ENFORCED DRESS CODE. We provide a professional setting, and we expect our attendees to dress accordingly. You will be refused entry and no monies will be refunded if you are not dressed appropriately. Look professional. Make an impression . . . a good one!

We reserve the right to refuse the participation of anyone.

Compliance with all studio regulations required.

You will also be required to show ID to the breakfast check-in staff to be admitted into the event. Passports are okay.

$8 parking is available at The Garland Hotel.

Street Parking is also available!

Guest Speakers’ attendance is confirmed, schedule permitting, at the time of all publications and notifications.

In the event our guest speaker is unable to attend, we reserve the right to provide a substitute speaker or initiate a different format (which may not include a substitute speaker) for that day/event.

In any such situation, our “no refund” and “no roll-over” policy for all reservations shall apply.

Hollywood Networking Breakfast® attendees are encouraged to TWEET about the event and take their personal photos on the “Red Carpet.” However, attendees are expressly NOT ALLOWED TO USE CAMERAS OR RECORDING DEVICES OF ANY TYPE to record the proceedings, especially the guest speaker(s) presentation. Failure to comply may result in confiscation of the devices used, ejection from the event, and prosecution for any violation of applicable laws.

We usually send an email of the current month’s breakfast information, and two reminder emails, to give attendees ample time to meet the “on-time” deadline. Once you subscribe to our mailing list, be sure to add our email to your address book.

We believe we have provided ALL the information you need to attend the Hollywood Networking Breakfast® and have a great time. The breakfast is an extremely time-consuming event to put together every month. Due to the scope of preparation for the event, volume of calls and emails we deal with on a daily basis pertaining to our other projects, events and activities, we will only return calls about the breakfast if you have a question that is NOT already answered on this site.
